Why Buy This Series

From Blast Freezer to Microwave or Oven

PP trays flex slightly to absorb freeze-thaw stress, and CPET trays tolerate oven reheat for ready meals. Flat seal rims and consistent draft angles keep automated filling and lidding lines running.

  • Sub-zero toughness — no brittle cracking in blast freezing
  • PP microwave-safe and CPET oven-ready grades
  • Flat sealing rims for automatic lidding and peel films
  • Stack/nest geometry for case efficiency
  • Compartment walls resist sauce bleed after thawing

FAQ

Frozen Food Trays — Buyer Questions

Which material should I choose: PP or CPET?
Use PP for freezer-to-microwave meals and cost-sensitive programs. Choose CPET when the consumer reheats in a conventional or convection oven, since CPET tolerates much higher temperatures.
Will the trays crack at -18°C?
No. Our frozen-grade PP and CPET compounds are formulated for blast-freezing and repeated distribution cycles without brittle failure.
Can the trays be sealed on our existing lidding line?
Most standard flange profiles work with common heat-seal and peel-film systems. Send your film and sealing temperature and we will validate with samples on your tooling.
Do you offer multi-compartment trays that prevent sauce transfer?
Yes. Two- and three-cell trays with raised dividers keep sauces and components separated through freezing and thawing.
Are oven-ready CPET trays FDA compliant?
Yes. Food-contact grades comply with FDA regulations and EU 10/2011, with migration test documentation available.
