Our meat and fresh-food tray range is built for high-turn meat, seafood and poultry departments. Trays are formed from food-contact PP, EPS foam or APET with leak-resistant rims, and run reliably on automated MAP, skin-pack and stretch-overwrap lines.

Meat & Fresh Food Trays — Buyer Questions

What sizes and colors do you currently stock?

Our current MF001–MF006 lineup covers depths from 16mm (MF001, for thin sliced cuts) to 70mm (MF003) in clear, white and blue PP/PET — see the specification table above for exact dimensions and case packs. Custom depths, footprints and colors are available through tooling.

Why is MF003 blue instead of black or clear?

Blue is a recognized food-safety color: it rarely occurs naturally in food, so any fragment that breaks off into the product during processing is easy to spot visually or with metal/vision detection systems. Many HACCP-audited seafood and processing lines specify blue trays and utensils for exactly this reason.

Are these trays compatible with MAP and skin-pack lines?

Yes. The rigid PP/PET trays in this range are engineered with seal-flat rims for modified-atmosphere and skin-pack lidding. Send us your film and machine specs and we will confirm fit against MF001–MF006 or quote a matching custom cavity.

Can I get the same tray in a different color?

Several items in this series, including MF001 and MF002, already ship in more than one color (clear or white) from stock. Other color changes are possible with a dedicated color-matched resin batch — ask us about MOQ for your specific item.

Can you print or emboss our brand on the tray?

Yes — up to 8-color printing, hot-stamping and embossed base logos are available, with Pantone matching and custom tooling.

Do trays include absorbent pads?

Pads are a separate item we can supply matched to cavity size, or trays ship without pads. Tell us your expected purge volume and we will recommend pad weight.

What is the MOQ for a custom tray size?

The MF001–MF006 items shown above are stocked and can ship from a single carton for trials. Fully custom cavities generally start at 30,000–100,000 pieces depending on tooling.
